WHO IS THE MAYOR?
Long before MayorsManor.com, John Hoven – aka The Mayor – was a featured contributor for several hockey publications in the early ’90s. Over the last two decades he’s traveled throughout North America – from junior games in Canada to college games in the U.S., twice to the Olympics (2002 and 2010), the 2004 World Cup of Hockey…and to see games in nearly every NHL city, including a few that have since lost their team (note: his rankings of NHL cities are available here).
Hoven's inside information, interviews and stories have appeared daily on MayorsManor.com since 2009 and have also been featured on ESPN, The Fourth Period, Hockey Independent and several other websites. Additionally, he does regular radio interviews, talking everything in the world of hockey – from the prospects to the pros.
